Some Fraxus fluff for your needs! Veeeeeery short but hopefully it'll give you some cuteness.

There was a time where Laxus felt way too awkward to accept this casual phyiscal contact. But so much had changed within the last year and he had gained something invisible he didn't want to lose again. Perhaps it had been growing, slowly and without him noticing it at first, and now it had become so strong that there wasn't any denying anymore. He loved the man in his arms, sincerely and so much like he'd never loved anyone else in his life. He'd never been the best at socializing let alone romantic stuff, flirting, getting this close to someone in any of these ways… but now that he had this bond that had grown to be one beyond friendship he couldn't imagine to live without this, without Freed as his mate anymore.

He heard the soft hum that left the rune magician's lips and even though he'd deny its existence a small blush had crawled onto his cheeks as he tightened the embrace. Laxus didn't know how they'd ended up like this, lying in bed and hugging each other close while actually they had to get up and prepare breakfast. It wasn't very often that they slept in but at times it was something they both needed and it got expressed by such gestures, attempts to keep the other in bed and close.

Freed was utterly contented as he snuggled against the blond with a sleepy smile on his face. His green hair was tousled, bangs a mess and Laxus loved the sight. The rune mage knew that there was the chance of falling asleep again in those strong arms. The dragon slayer was warm, his broad chest perfect to cuddle up against and he loved to be able to hear his heartbeat, no matter how kitschy that sounded. Too much had happened in the past and he valued every day he could spend with him.

And Laxus loved to get the same silent comfort and affection as he felt Freed's arms around his form as well. Arms that weren't as buff and broad as his own were but arms that he knew bore hidden strength, the muscular arms of a skilled swordsman that were able to protect as much as his own. The dragon slayer grinned slightly, feeling weird happiness above anything else, when his attempt to shift a little made Freed grumble in protest but he honestly didn't mind staying like this for some more moments…

It was warm, it felt like there was nothing to worry about and it was the comfort of being in his home with his long-term friend that became his boyfriend at last after such a long time of knowing each other.
