A/N: as much as I'd like it to have some bashing, there is none.
Both Fred and George were extremely close after their births, and would wrestle with each other for the simplest things, like grabbing a letter block or petting the family cat. Their first year at Hogwarts hadn't changed anything, and pranked nearly everyone they laid their mischievous eyes on, regardless if it was a Gryffindor or not.
Which is why Fred beckoned George towards him silently, inclining his head towards the Great Hall entrance. George caught on and adopted a toothy grin, before sidling up to his twin and peeking out towards the corridor leading to the Hall.
The twins quickly strutted out of the broom closet they were hiding in, and inconspicuously walked closer and closer towards the entrance of the Great Hall, checking their surroundings before uttering the incarnation for a Freezing Charm on the doorway, scurrying off before they could be caught in their mischievous act, snickering quietly, but the echo of their laughter could be heard in the hallways as they snuck back towards Gryffindor Tower.
Chaos ensued the following morning. The students at the back of the block didn't understand what was happening, and so were whispering to each other, casting glances at the doorway, but the students at the front understood completely, as they were stuck next to each other, unable to utter a word or move a muscle.
In the midst, Fred and George were snickering at the situation they had created. Both were well aware and joyful of the confusion, annoyance and loathing gazes they gave the twins for laughing, of all things. No one was sharing their joy, however. Most students were ready to drop on their feet if they didn't get to sit down, and some stomachs were rumbling loudly with hunger. A few were scowling deeply at the floor, and grumbling underneath their breath.
By the time Professors were aware of the situation, most of the students wandered back to their common room, and likely sulking at the fact that they had no breakfast, the crowd had disappeared enough for McGonagall to treat them with a detention, and 5 points to Gryffindor for amazing Charms work, despite pulling a prank.
As they left the office sharing identical grins, they shared seven words.
"Nice job, Freddie."
"Same to you, Georgie,"
A/N: second story I've made, and this time, its about the twins adventures in their first year.
Nothing belongs to me except the plot.
