Today it's finally time. I finally start high school today. Me Sam Evans, had rough time. I don't really have friends and I really need to change this. So I hope that high school will give me the opportunity to make some friends.
Come on Sam! my mother shouts from downstairs, you going to be late. I'm coming I shout to her. I run down the stairs and quickly say goodbye to my mom. I jump in my car and drive to school. I park my car next to some other sophomore guys.
The first thing today is going to the assembly for all the sophomore's in the huge sports hall. I sit down next some very nervous guys. The principle gives us a short welcome speech. As soon as he is finished we get split up in our classes. It's a good start of the day for me. Even though I haven't spoken with anybody, at least I don't look as nervous as half of the people.
As the morning comes to an end I finally know who my classmates are. There is Artie Abrams, he's in a wheelchair but his humour is awesome and he seems really nice. Then there is Blaine Anderson, a very kind boy together he and Mike Chang another very cool guy are best friends. For the girls there are Quinn Fabray, Santana Lopez and Brittany Pierce, these three cheerleaders seem a bit mean but Santana gave me a cute smile so I guess she is alright. The rest of the people I don't really know yet, but they all seem pretty okay.
You want to sit with us for lunch Artie asks me when the bell rings for lunch time. Yeah sure I say, happy that he asks me.
Together with Artie and Mike I have one of the best lunch time I've ever had. They all seem so nice and accepting. So Sam what music do you like? Blaine asks when he joins us. I like artists like Michael Jackson, Queen, the Beatles etc. I say. Boy you have a good taste man Artie says with a big smile on his face. Artie is right, Blaine says these are great artists. Thanks guys I say, I thought I would be the only one who likes them. No way Mike says, we love them!
After lunch we all walk to our first math class. When we all sit down Mrs. Pillsbury knocks on the door. Mrs. Pillsbury is our student guidance counsellor. Sam can I speak with you for a second she says. I walk out of the classroom with her. I just got a call from the police department Mrs. Pillsbury says, I don't really know how to tell you this. Tell me what? I ask a little confused. There was a gas explosion at your house Mrs. Pillsbury says, it ruined your house completely.
