Twilight Destiny
Prologue
The air in Pulitzer's office had a heavy feeling after so many years of intrigue and cigar smoke. The man himself had the sincerest of demeanors when it benefited his business. But now as the cool azure twilight of early March filtered in the picture windows the only thing that was sincere about the newspaper mogul was his air of confident malevolence. Taking great care in lighting his cigar Pulitzer glanced at the figure sitting on the other side of his desk, "I trust you'll be discreet in these…dealings…"
"You don't need to worry about my discretion," The voice of the slightly shadowed figure had the disturbing sound of being almost completely without any kind of an accent.
"Well then as par with our agreement if you can fracture the 'Newsboy's Union' to the point where they will be unable to strike again I will pay you 1500 dollars-"
"And if it comes to means of force?"
"Use what ever means you find necessary."
