"There are four questions of value in life...what is sacred? Of what is the spirt made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love." -Johnny Depp

Have you ever felt like anything could happen? Like, after seemingly endless days and sleepless nights, everything would finally change? Most of us waste forever wishing for change, but only half of us ever think about what kind of change we are looking for. We pray to find love, fame, fortune, but life doesn't always give us what we expect. We could fall in love, only to find that the feeling is not returned. We could become famous, only for it to feel fake. We could find fortune, but not deserve it. There are so many variables, so many unpredictable outcomes, that we usually don't think to wish for exactly what we want.

James Diamond smiled to himself as his eyes opened, resting on the sleeping figure of his roomate, bandmate, and best friend, Kendall Knight on the other side of the room. Today was finally the day. Hopping out of his bed, slightly falling over in excitement, James ran to the bathroom to get ready. He went through his normal routine, making sure he looked flawless as always, and went back into the room he shared with Kendall. Shaking his head slowly at the still-sleeping boy, he got dressed quickly and quietly. He didn't want to disturb him while sleeping; James needed him in a good mood. Three light knocks got his attention: Logan, just like they'd planned it.

"Today's the day." he whispered, causing Logan to roll his eyes.

"Obviously." Despite his sarcastic tone, James could tell the shorter boy was excited.

"What time are we going to pick up the pizza?" He asked, winking. Logan almost laughed at the sparkle in his friend's eyes. He looked like a little kid on Christmas morning.

"Six. We'll go get it at six." Both boys knew that they weren't going out to buy pizza, but they kept up the charade so that no one could find out what they were actually planning. Logan, after months of mixed emotions, had decided that tonight was the night he wanted to ask Camille to be his girlfriend. He was going to buy her a bouquet of white violets (Meaning, let's take a chance on happiness), blue violets (Promising to be true), and pink carnations (To show his admiration for her). James, on the other hand, was being a little more dramatic, deciding it was time to tell Kendall he loved him. He had come out to his three closest friends back in grade school, and he knew Kendall was bi, so this was his chance. He was buying a bouquet also, his consisting of red and white roses (Signifying eternal love), forget-me-nots (True love and memories), and red tulips (Believe me). Kendall stirred in his sleeping, muttering "James" as he turned to face the window. Grinning happily, James followed Logan out the door.
