A/N I do not, and will never, own the wonderful world of Potter. This is set at the same time as 'Umm, Harry' after the Deathly Hallows. I would love it if you at least read both, so you understand…everything… but it is not necessary.
Uhh…Ginny…
"Uhhh…Ginny…"
She heaved a sigh and rolled over in the bed to face the brunette.
"Yes Hermione." Replied Ginny, her flaming hair flowing around her face, "Yes, Hermione." She repeated, when her friend remained silent.
"Do, do you love Harry?" Hermione asked, her wand casting shadows across her questioning face.
"Yes, of course." Answered Ginny, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Hermione, scrunched her face up slightly,
"But, but how do you know?" she asked, in a way that would make you think she were trying to work out a particularly hard logic puzzle. Ginny sighed again,
"Hermione. I just know. You just…know." Ginny looked over at Hermione again. "Hermione, I'm gonna be frank- yes… to the question that you are considering."
Hermione's jaw dropped, "What question?" she asked, as casually as she could.
Ginny shook her head, "You and Ron, you should be together! You kissed him didn't you?"
Now it was Hermione's time to sigh, "Well, yes…but we haven't really talked about it. It's clear he doesn't like-"
"I'm gonna cut you off there," Interrupted Ginny, "my brother is so madly in love with you, and so obvious about it, it hurts." Hermione opened and closed her mouth a few times.
"What should I say to him?" Hermione asked, looking Ginny in the eye.
"Well, I think that Ron wouldn't understand what you were trying to tell him if you turned up in only a strategically placed-"
"Ginny!" exclaimed Hermione, shocked at the rudeness of the younger girl, then again, she had grown up with six older brothers.
"Okay, okay," responded Ginny, looking unfased, "I think you should just say it, if you have to, tell him that I told you he likes you. I don't mind."
"He told you that he likes me?" asked Hermione, looking pleasantly surprised. Ginny just stood up, dragging Hermione to her feet, she pushed the older girl to the door.
"Okay, now go!" she said, giving Hermione a small shove.
"But, he'll be asleep, and Harry will be there." Hermione protested.
"Send Harry down here if you want. Now go!" Hermione stumbled through the door, that Ginny shut behind her.' No going back now', she thought.
When Hermione reached the door to the boys' bedroom, she heard Ron's voice.
". Every time she touches me, even if it is just a slight brush of our hands, I can't make coherent sentences, and all my blood rushes down…you know."
Hermione blushed at Ron's words,' who could the mystery girl, be?' she wondered
"I can't imagine a world without her telling us to get our bloody work done, or her bushy hair, or chocolate, brown eyes. Seeing her with another guy makes my blood boil, because they aren't worthy of her, I'm not bloody worthy of her. She's smart, beautiful, and-when she wants to be- actually quite fun. And the fact of the matter is: I'm in a deep load of shit because I am in love with my best friend. I. Love. Hermione. I bloody love Hermione. I love…"
'Oh' thought Hermione, and her mouth fell open. Ron was staring right at her, his mouth opened. Harry pulled the door fully open.
"Oh, Hello Hermione."
A/N okay, I don't think this as good as 'Umm, Harry." But oh well. Do you think I should write what happens next? I'm not sure if I want to or not. Depends what you guys think. Please Review.
