I'm written this text after seeing Descendants 2 and relationship of Mal and Evie. It's friendship but, if you want, it's more romantic. As you want. And, I'm warning: I don't speak English; it's a… exercise for training. Said me if it's horrible or good (it's not good, I know: I'm terrible with English), please. So, I hope this little text is pleasant and good moment, thanks.

Edit: I corrected the text. I hope it's better.

Disclaimer: Descendants 2 is not my own.

They were here, in the Island of the Lost. And Ben left, captured by Uma. Great.

And now? Evie did not know. She and the boys were with Mal, in their "secret" base. The walls were paint with black and white, represent Mal's group. Mal did not appear enchanted by the return of her friends but she doesn't say about that during the conversation for Ben's liberation. And, now the plan was over, Carlos and Jay were prepare form turn to Auradon and duplicate the Fairy Godmother's wand; Evie and Mal were alone, between girls.

"Now we have the solution for Ben's liberation, what we doing?" said Evie.

"I don't know. I suppose you can prepare your return to Auradon" answered Mal, shrugging the shoulders.

Evie sighed while she caught Mal's hands. Her best friend – her sister – was so cold and Evie did not like that. She understood why Mal was back in the Island of the Lost and why she was so angry by the return of Evie, Carlos and Jay. Mal was alone and she loves it, because she guesses to be free. But she did not understand it's not that she would, inside her. Evie knew for her. Because they were best friends, for ever. Yes, it was ridiculous says like that but, inside an island where it's necessary to look your back every time, friendship was rare and dangerous. Even more then when your parent is a extremely popular villain, respected and feared.

"Mal, we don't leave without you", said Evie with firm voice.

For all answer, Mal smiled, like if it was not logical.

"Funny. But, don't be ridiculous, Evie. You are a… princess, like all Auradon's princess. And Jay and Carlos are happy over there. Your place is not here."

"But you?" rebutted Evie.

"It's my home. In the Island, I'm free, Evie, and you know. I can't go away."

"You're wrong, Mal! I understand here is… good when you want to be free. But Island of the Lost is not for you. You love Ben, it's for that he is here. He wanted to apologize and convince you to come back with him, with us, with me. Your family. We are a family. You are good, Mal. Not evil. Not like all on this island."

"How you know that?" asked Mal, her arms crossed.

"Because I'm your friend, Mal, your sister! And I don't leave without you. It's understood?"

Mal sighed and moved off.

"I can't not promise you, Evie. I… I don't know what to do. Auradon is agreeable, I recognize but it so… difficult to be me. I do not want to be someone else."

Evie shook her head, with a sad smile.

"You do not have to be other someone, Mal. Ben love you as you are, not someone else. And me too. Jay and Carlos too. We are friend with you for years. We do not want you to change. Mal, you are unique. And if people do not see that, it's because they are blind and they are not worthwhile."

Mal did not answer. She looked like she was in reflexion. She sighed again.

"Right." she said finally. "I… I'll think about it. But I do not promise nothing, Evie. Ok?"

"Right." said Evie, with a happy smile. "I'm so happy to see you again, Mal. I've missed you."

Mal smiled.

"Me too. I've missed my sister."
