When You Were
Summary: When you were seven or eight, you would… Roxiri
Disclaimer: I would love to own Kingdom Hearts. But I don't.
When you were seven or eight, you would pronounce to your daddy that you would be with Roxas Tyler forever.
He would be mad and forbid you to ever go near that boy again.
When you were seven or eight, you would pronounce to your mommy that you would be with Roxas Tyler forever.
She would encourage you and smile at your little crush.
When you were seven or eight, you would pronounce to your big brother that you would be with Roxas Tyler forever.
He would tell you to go away and leave him alone.
When you were seven or eight, you would pronounce to your big sister that you would be with Roxas Tyler forever.
She would say 'suuuuuureeeeeee' and roll her eyes.
After so many years, you would still remember and see how they all laughed at you, and never believed you.
Not even a tiny bit.
Zip. Nada. Zero. Nothing.
As a young little attentive but not-as-smart kid, you would doodle on a piece of red construction paper and use a great big purple marker and ask your mommy to cut out a heart.
She would ask what you needed it for. And you would reply it was for you and Roxas. She would laugh but cut out the heart so she wouldn't break YOUR heart.
You would then scribble your big, huge, wobbly initials, and then added a little something to make it extra special, maybe a big star or even a heart.
K.J. & R.T.
You would then step back and look at your lovely handcrafted work. You would give a little smile, and have your first blush, knowing you would never see this again.
As a young little kiddo you believed, you put your whole HEART into fate. How everything was supposed to happen like it was. And when it didn't, it broke your little heart into two.
There was this piece of information you didn't know, about how everything wasn't joyful or happy in life, or perfect.
Nothing is perfect.
Nothing will be.
When you grow up into a teen, you realize you were stupid.
Really stupid.
And although you would still trace
K.J. ♥ R.T.
And never use that piece of red construction paper again,
It will still be in your heart.
Forever.
A/N: Read and review please! hands out paper hearts with your initials and R.T. on them
