Just a small poem I had to write for class last year. I know that it's not the best, but hope that you like it! Disclaimer: If anybody thinks that I got this idea from something already written then I don't own whatever that is!
A lone wolf
During the winter,
A lone wolf walks.
She has built a wall around her heart,
To keep all emotions away,
To keep all the sadness away.
Her family has died,
Her friends have mated and left,
Her pack abandoned her when she was wounded.
She has survived by herself this long,
Facing many dangers.
She now faces winter,
But believes she can survive,
Because she has built a wall around her heart.
In the spring,
This wolf walks,
With a small pup,
That is not hers though.
But abandoned like herself.
The wall around her heart has melted a bit.
And now she feels emotions and feelings,
Thanks to a little wolf pup.
