It was a warm sunny day in beautiful Ponyville as Rainbow Dash woke up and decided to take a walk through the park. She brushed her long luscious rainbow colored hair and separated a few strands to braid together into a tight braid which she left to fall softly down her face in front of her ear rather than tucked behind. She thought it kindof made her look like Arwen from Lord of the Rings. She stepped through the front door and took a deep refreshing breath as she stood there for a moment collecting her thoughts. Then, she started off down the sidewalk whistling a merry tune.
In no time at all, she found herself at the park, and began her stroll through it, stopping every now and then to smell the roses (her favorite flower). The lilacs were also in bloom and their sweet fragrance was intoxicating. As she walked along in a daze, she noticed another pony approaching from the opposite direction. He was an incredibly handsome unicorn and she imagined him as Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, her prince come to sweep her off her feet. She giggled and blushed as she thought of this.
He must have heard her because he turned his head and looked in her direction, catching her eye. He slowed down and stopped when he reached her.
"Hi there, my name's Moonstone, but my friends call me Mooney," he told her extending his hoof.
"Hey, my name is Rainbow Dash, but you can call me Dash," she added completing the introduction.
"Would you care to accompany me to Cotton Candy Café?"
"Sure," she replied trying not to sound too excited, "that would be nice."
