"Alfred! What the hell is that?!" Arthur stared at Alfred while he tried to calm himself. He pointed to the thing protruding from Alfred's head.
"Explain."
Alfred looked at Arthur, wondering what was wrong. "Oh? This thing? It's a giant squid."
Arthur, slightly irritated by Alfred's reply, could feel his eyebrow twitch unconsciously. "I can see that. What I want to know is why it's latched onto your head!"
"They've been showing up all over my west coast. I thought I'd bring one home to be my friend!" Alfred grinned, quite proud of his achievement.
Arthur rubbed his temples, feeling an oncoming headache.
This guy… can be befriend anything?
