Numbuh's 3 and 4 ran down the hallway and stopped in front of two grand doors. They opened the door, and gasped. "Aw crud" Wally said, as he looked into a sea of teenage couples, arms linked round each other, swaying to and fro to the beat of the song. "Oh, I love this song!" Kuki said with a romantic look spreading her face. "And I'd love to throw up! How're we gonna get past all those gross, lovey-dovey kissey faced teens!" Suddenly, Waly found himself being dragged across the dance floor. "I know! We'll slow-dance past 'dem!" Wally wasn't havin that. "WHAT! Oh no way!" He said as he tried to scramble out of Kuki's arms. In doing so, he accidentally bumped into and big, burly, football player. "Hey, whatch were your goin!" He said threateningly. "Uh…" Wally started to panic, Then he felt Kuki's hand on his shoulder. "Like, sorry dude!" Kuki said in her best impression of a teenage boy. "Better be." The boy said as she and Wally made there way across the dance floor. Kuki's eyes were closed, and Wally was making desperate attempts to get out of Kuki's arms. He was almost free when he heard, "Aw, look. Two little kids! How cute!" from some girl in the crowd. Well, that caught Wally off guard. He turned, and caught Kuki gazing at him, with so much love in her face. A pink blush clouded her porcelain face, and his too, for that matter. Well, Kuki and Wally made their way into their first real slow-dance. Her arms round his neck, his arms round her waist, moving in the same fashion as everyone else in the room, but to Wally, it felt as though they were the only two people there. She was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen. Her long, black tendrils of green apple smelling hair moving slowly at her waist, brushing his hands. He was also slightly embarrassed, because of his height. She was taller than him. He had to look up slightly to look her in the bright, blue eyes. His heart started drumming in his ears as she leaned her head at his ear. This was it. He had to do it now. He actually wanted to tell her this time. At this moment, he wanted nothing more than to be with her. He wanted to say "I love you" so many times, even he would get tired of hearing it. He wanted to kiss her, hug her, comfort her when she was sad, and not have to hide his felling from everyone else. With a deep breath, he whispered, "Kuki?" He felt her head lift from his shoulder. "What?" she whispered. Wally was trembling, and the butterflies in his stomach felt as though they were in a fist-fight. "I- I love you". He whispered back, in a trembling voice. Kuki suddenly lifted her head up as to look him straight in the eye. She looked surprised, as a grin spread wide across her face as she said, "Really? You mean it?" At first she couldn't believe she just heard the words "I love you" come from a boy like Wallabee Beetles. Especially to her. Wally's face went crimson. "Yea. I do Kuki. For a long time now I have. I've just been so scared to tell you." Her face went crimson too as she jumped straight up in the air in excitement and happiness. She almost squealed, except she remembered they were on a mission and in a room full of the enemy. She grabbed Wally and gave him the tightest hug she had ever given anyone, and assured him quietly that she loved him to and that she always would, forever, and ever, and ever. Wally looked into Kuki's eyes, happier than he had ever been, and leaned in and gave Kuki and kiss on the cheek. He would save their first real kiss for later. She smiled so big and returned the favor, planting a big one on his cheek. But a vibrating on their wrists brought them back to the mission, so slow-dancing across the dance floor, sadly, they burst through the large doors at the end of the room.
