Father was a wise man.
Father was a passionate man.
Father is my best friend.
Father is a kamiya.
I can recall the day my father had pulled the white sheet over mother's lifeless body as it were yesterday. Just as easily remember each sad line that pulled his facal muscles in to an outline of sorrow in witch I saw endless amounts of pain that filled them that were incomprehendable by Evan me. Here is where it all started, the unbreakable bond between father and daughter, endless words of wisdom, innocent happiness all of it started at that moment. He turned my way face a blank uttering the words I will always remember: "daughter today is the beginning of our new life and a new era" he stood tall like that of a general "we will not look back, only forward." Silent understanding was my answer we had walked sadly out of the room into a new 'era'.
Some months have passed and I had seen many new faces in witch I had never seen my father wear. In that short time father had started to brain storm a new creation with use of that in which is old ways of thinking of 'swords that give Death' will no longer be needed. Day in and day out would he spend time training me in the basics of the old ways and creating a new swords style, we were his obsessions. If not it was not one of us, it did not matter to him.
Again, more time past and father had fell in love, and remarried. But it was not a woman he fell in love with and remarried, oh on the contrary it was an ideal to protect life, from it gave birth to Katsujin-ken : "swords that give live"
Now stats the story of how kamiya kaoru came to be who she is, a strong, wise, passionate woman.
