Disclaimer: I don't own ff7!
Summary: cloud has been living in the church for a couple of years, since aeris has passed on to the life stream. One day he comes back from a delivery and there is a girl lying in the flowers unconscious. She is glowing and when he gets close enough, the glow goes away. He stares questioningly at her, not sure who she is. He has never seen her, but the first thing he hears escapes her lips is his name. How does she know him if he has never encountered her?
A lullaby for you
Cloud's pov
Ring
Ring, ring
"…hello?" I say as I answer my cell phone.
"Cloud we have another request, can you deliver it?" tifa asked.
"…yeah. I'll be there in fifteen minutes." I said and clicked. I stared at the yellow and white flowers on the ground and breathed in their scent.
"Aeris…how can I make this pain go away?" I thought… as I walked away and boarded my black motorcycle.
No one's pov
Little did he know that someone was listening in from the life stream?
"Promise me…that you'll love her as you loved me…I want you to be happy…I want to see your smile even if you can't see me"
The odd flowers began to glow as the life stream began to bubble above them and take shape of an 18 year old girl. She has black wavy shoulder length hair, honey brown skin, brown eyes and a slim/athletic body. She wore a tunic (the ones that goddesses wear) that was a lavender color with lacy white trimmings. Her body slowly descends and she now lays in the flowers in a soundless sleep.
About an hour later cloud returns. He walks into the church and goes to his futon bed and chess of material. He adds another two, thunder and fire. He then takes in a deep breath and catches the flower's scent and something more…sweet.
He approaches the tall flowers and sees a girl unconscious.
"Hey, are you ok!" he calls out as he runs and knees by her. He gently shook her but she did not wake, so he picked her up to lay her o his futon. He placed her down slowly and covers her with the sheet he used as a blanket. Before he moved away, he heard her sigh his name…
