Brian stared at the jedi temple one last time before leaving for Korriban. He regained consciousness and started to make way for the landing pads. Though, he will come back, but as a new person.
Barriss ran as fast as her legs can take her. She had to hurry or else it was too late.
FLASHBACK
It was 0100 hours and Barriss was having a nightmare about Brian leaving. Soon, she was sitting up breathing heavily. This was the third time she had this dream, and it was getting more vivid each time. She told herself "it's only a dream" though her heart disagreed. It was late, and she wasn't sure the dream was accurate. Though, she had to make sure. Barriss slipped on her slippers and made her way to Brian's quarters. Soon she arrived at his room and there was a note in front of his door. She picked it up and it said,
"Masters, if you have found this note, then I have already left the temple. I found that fighting the war with the jedi 'ways' is holding me back. Though, I am grateful for your teachings, but I know this is the path I must take.
Goodbye masters and I hope that when I come back the war is over." Barriss eyes widened and she ran towards the landing pads.
END OF FASHBACK
Brian started the engines to his jedi ship and looked out the window. There was Barriss running towards him.
his head and mouthed the words 'I'm sorry'. He pulled the
"WAIT DON'T LEAVE!" Barriss yelled. Brian shook ship up and flew into space. Barriss stood there looking into the sky before breaking down into tears.
"Please come back, I love you." She confessed. Though, it was too late.
THREE YEARS LATER
Brian knew that Jabba would sooner or later send him to Coruscant to check on Ziro. Brian never really liked the purple slime, though Jabba paid him a good amount of money for this particularly task.
Soon it was night and Ziro was probably sleeping. Brian decided to use this time to go visit the jedi temple.
He arrived at the temple and climbed the roof. The air duct wasn't what Brian had in mind, but he didn't want to get caught. Brian stopped crawling and jumped down the opening. There he stood in the hallways of the temple.
"This place hasn't changed." Brian muttered. Suddenly there was a blue light behind him that made a familiar sound. He stood there slowly raising his arms.
"Who are you?" the voice of a female asked. Brian turned around and took off his helmet.
"Hey Barriss, long time no see." Brian chuckled at Barriss' gasp.
