"Sherlock?"

"Hm?"

"I take it you're bored again?"

"Mm." Sherlock splayed his hand out on the floor in front of where he lay, fingers spread apart. In his other hand he held a knife and he hummed a little tune. He started to flick his wrist downward, carefully stabbing the knife in the spaces between his fingers. "Yeah, I guess." John sighed.

"Well, don't do that. C'mon, let's play a game." Sherlock looked up.

"A game? What do you mean by a game?"

"I mean a board game. How about this one?" Watson held up the game of Clue. Holmes raised an eyebrow.

"Clue? Well, I suppose I could play with you..." He sat upright and shoved the knife into the hardwood. The detective always loved Clue.

"Well. Let's play, then." John opened the box and started to set up the game, sorting the cards into suspects, rooms, and weapons. He slipped one card of each into the little orange envelope, making sure that neither saw which ones they were.

"I'll be Mr. Green..." Sherlock picked up the green piece and placed it above the name of the character. John nodded.

"Ms. Scarlet." He did the same with the red.

"Ms. Scarlet?"

"Yes, Ms. Scarlet. Do you have a problem with Ms. Scarlet?" Sherlock shook his head, though he struggled to hide a smile. Watson rolled his eyes. "Well, whatever. I'm Ms. Scarlet, no matter what you say. Now roll the dice." Sherlock did as he was told.

"Eleven." He clicked the piece along eleven times. Strait into the lounge. "I'd like to make an accusation. Professor Plum..." He picked up the purple piece and put it in the lounge. "With the revolver..." He did the same with the revolver piece. "In the lounge. Obvious." Leaning back, Sherlock looked him right in the eyes. John started searching though his hand, trying to find something to prove him wrong.

"What the... How the hell do you do that?! Alright, if you have something that combats your accusation, speak now or forever hold your peace." Sherlock shook his head.

"Now, that's silly. Just pull the cards." John shrugged.

"Alright... But I have no idea how you do this so easily... It is a game of chance..." He reached into the envelope and gasped, reading the cards. "How the hell, Sherlock..." He turned them around. As expected, they read, 'Professor Plum', 'Lounge', and 'Revolver'.

"It was quite simple, really. Look at his face. And besides, Professor Plum is most definitely left handed, and the revolver is built specifically for use of the left hand. As for the lounge, well, that just happened to be the space I landed on."

"...That's not how this game works, Sherlock."

"Ok. I was kidding. I saw the cards."

"Of course you did."

Author's Note:

Guess who's been neglecting Danish Diaries because they got into Sherlock~ That's right. Me. Anyway, this is a little idea I had. I thought it was rather clever, Sherlock Holmes and Watson playing Clue. xP
