"Freak. When you think of the word you may picture someone who is different from you or a person who is beyond different and you think they aren't human. The world is divided into two kinds of people: those who look normal, and those who are afraid of people who are not like them. Kind of like anti-tattoo people, they say 'they are disgusting' and 'how can someone do that to their body?'I love every one of my tattoos, every single drop of ink from my eyebrow, neck down to my toes. I think they fear the unknown and feel the need to trash talk us because of it.

How could they possibly know me? Just because their opinion of it is 'disgusting' doesn't mean it is.

Tattoos are by no means unnatural and just a fad. In the 1900s they were popular with both genders especially women. Women in circus freak shows would have their entire bodies inked, from their heads down to the tips of their toes. Tattoos are beautiful and show your personality without even speaking. All of my tattoos mean something to me. I have people stare and judge me everywhere I go for my tattoos and my freaky appearance. My reaction… I just stare right the fuck back. It catches them off guard and they go on their merry fuckin way.

People are afraid of the unknown and will attack anything they don't know about out of fear. Whether they know it or not it's like the people view us as bad people because we choose to adorn our bodies with ink art.

My name is Amaythea O'Quinn, I'm a freak! Proud of it too!"

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I posted a story on here. This is my first Cirque du Freak fanfic and I hope ya'll will like it. I have had some people message me about how I type my stories out and everything and I just want to say that the way i type is not going to change one bit! I type this way because its easier for me. If you dont know what I'm talking about then check out my Hellsing fanfic i have. But I am also changing some things in the way I type too. Making it sound better. So I hope you like my story and I will try to get the first chappie out ASAP!
