A/N: I know this is late, but I finally made an actual Valentine's Day story. Better late than never, right? ^_^' I hope you enjoy!
"Saeki!" Midou called out to his lover, confronting him in an office hallway apart from everyone else.
Katsuya gave him a confused look. "What is it?"
"Well… Er…" Midou trailed off, biting his bottom lip awkwardly as he blushed in embarrassment before he handed Katsuya a neatly wrapped small box. "Uh… H-Happy Valentine's Day…"
Katsuya accepted the box, surprised at first, then smirked in amusement. "How sweet," he said as Midou continued to blush, trying to avoid eye contact with the other man. "I got you something as well."
Midou finally turned to look at him curiously as Katsuya pulled a box out of his pocket and gave it to him.
"It's larger than what I got you!" Midou exclaimed in shock.
"It's also homemade," Katsuya said proudly.
"Saeki, that's too much…"
"It's no problem for me," Katsuya continued. "Anything to make you happy." Midou stayed silent as he said this, causing Katsuya to frown. "Why are you disappointed? You should be pleased."
"I am," Midou said. "You just put so much more thought into it than I did."
"Well, if you're not content with what you got me then-" Katsuya suddenly grabbed Midou, pushing him back against the wall behind him and whispered, "you can always repay me with sex."
Midou's cheeks flushed bright red and he shook his head. "That's not necess-" Katsuya interrupted him with a swift kiss, causing Midou to moan in surprise and struggle, but eventually gave in.
"W-Wait…" Midou said softly, pushing him away after Katsuya had pulled away.
"What's wrong?" Katsuya asked. "It's Valentine's Day, so shouldn't you be ecstatic to do something like this?"
"Not while we're working," Midou said. "Not here with everyone else."
"We should've taken the day off," Katsuya said with a sigh, but Midou shook his head in reply.
"No, we have too much to do today."
"Then we'll have to make up for it tonight," Katsuya said, leaning in close. "Is that alright with you, Midou-san?"
Midou nodded at him and gave him an awkward smile. "O-Of course."
Katsuya smiled back at him and leaned in closer for another kiss, but Midou immediately jolted and backed away when he heard people coming. "We should start heading back,"
Katsuya said, amused by how embarrassed the other man had become upon hearing others approach. Midou didn't say anything, but nodded in response and walked in the opposite direction from Katsuya, hugging his new gift tightly against his chest.
