I don't even have a title for this…send one in.
Danny: Hey guys I'm back. I SWEAR THERE'S NO CLIFFIE ON THIS! Don't own Wk...umm is there really anything else I need to mention? Oh yeah! This does not have an episode counterpart so don't worry. This is a free standing one shot, is freestanding even a word? Spell check isn't highlighting so I think it's ok…
The wind howled as it poked in and out of the ravine's crevices as the moon sat high in the sky like an emperor would stand above an empire. A soft drizzle tapped the dusty and rocky ground. The smell of rain filled the air like a natural perfume. Two humans carefully made their way towards the top of the steep and jagged walls.
Martin shivered as he picked his way around a few muddy rocks.
Chris stopped, "Martin, you're freezing." He glared at the man's thin tee shirt and shorts.
"No I'm not!" his older brother objected but stopped midway through his sentence because of a fierce shiver running down his spine.
Chris smirked, his point being proven.
"OK, fine! I'm cold, but not freezing! Don't worry bro, I'm fine," Martin explained. The glow of his head lamp shining in Chris's dark brown eyes.
Chris took off his sweatshirt and tossed it at his brother, "wear it."
Martin was about to object when he noticed that Chris was giving him a death glare, "ok fine."
Chris smirked in triumph as he grabbed a black hooded sweater out of his backpack. He quickly put it on and zipped it up.
"So, why black?" Martin asked as they continued walking.
"Second favorite color," Cris replied off handedly, jumped over a couple rocks as he did.
"Hey Chris, look at this!" Martin stated, shining his headlamp on a few tracks.
"Cool. You know, Grey Wolves are actually really rare here," Chris replied.
Martin frowned, usually Chris was excited about rare animal tracks.
Martin turned to look at his younger brother with worried eyes, "Chris, what's wrong?"
Chris raised an eyebrow, "what do you mean?"
Martin shot him a 'really?' look. "You've been distant ever since-" he didn't finish his sentence.
Chris looked at his brother, "Martin, I'm fine, seriously. Donita and Zach didn't do anything to me. I was just a hostage."
Martin raised an eyebrow, "and how do I know that your not lieing?!"
Chris paused, the reluctantly replied, "you don't. You just have to trust my word."
Martin walked over and tightly hugged his younger brother, missing the youngest Kratt's eyes flash a bright blood red.
AND DONE! Sorry I lied, there was a small cliffie! I don't like this one shot but oh well...Anyway, ummm Trade should be updated sometime soon. Send me ideas and yeah...I don't own WK, you can interpret the end how ever you want...and uh well I don't know. Tell me if I forgot something please.
