A/N Just a little song fix about Spitfire. What if Artemis became an assassin like she was trained to. What if Jade never left. What if Wally met her during battle and they fell in love. Based on the song Angel In Blue Jeans by Trainn

He first met her when they were 15. She was an assassin for the Shadows, working with Cheshire. He had come with Red Arrow, hoping to find something along the way. He remembers the way she moved with such fluidity and grace, slipping just out of reach, a feat hard to accomplish against a speedster. He fell for the way she moved and how she broken all the rules, defying gravity.

He was in love with a murderess. Didn't know her name but instead her story. They were from opposite sides of the train tracks. He was good and she was a killer. Enough said. But still, he loved her. The kind of love that was completely irrational.

It was quite the sight. Two opposites, they should hate each other, but they found the other intoxicating. Arrow after arrow she shot at him. Sweet nothing's whispered into the racing wind, never heard by anyone but the pair. Each and every time she'd shoot again, never once missing her mark.

The first time he lost her, he ran after her shadow, marveling at how similar she was to Cheshire. Almost to the key. But his angel had long blonde hair. He lost her in the woods, the faint hum of the animals masking her escape like music that never played.

She attacked him from behind, regret in her stormy eyes as he fell across the gravel. She had the upper hand and Sportsmaster wanted the kill done today. With another forceful shove he was knee deep in the water, the night sky threatening to break day. He fell to his knees, staring up at his angel, HIS angel, in defeat. He would live her even through death.

The sun would rise again and she would get on with her life. She'd leave behind the ginger that she couldn't help but hate. Then again nothing was ever as it seems, love could easily be mistaken for hate. So as she left him, forcing him down the river, into the new depths she fired an arrow. The tip embedded itself in a falling tree, to be frozen forever in time.

I love you~I'm sorry

He couldn't find the ground to stand.

Guilt consumed her, an unfamiliar feeling. His heart felt as if it was burst from his rib's cage.

The two of them were stuck in a labyrinth of emotions, confused with what to feel. She shouldn't feel this way, it'd get her killed.

His arms were stretched out to grasp her sleeping form as he slipped away. He thought he'd woken up, alive and next to her, that they'd get a happily ever after. But fate can be so cruel.
