The cat is a specie of fable, of witchcraft, of superstitions, said to have once been guardians of sacred temples or a witch or warlock in disguise. A cat often looks into nothingness. Perhaps they see things around us that we cannot perceive? The cat is said to transform, the cat is said to know the weather. So many things can be said of this magnificent creature. This story is dedicated to the raw beauty GOD gave to this exquisitly alluring animal and in honor of Nikola Tesla, dreamer, pioneer, inventor and animal lover.
******* Macak The Magnificent ******
The sleek jet black feline purrs. His eyes have targeting wool trousers. He cautiouly steps over piles of papers holding his head up high. He shoves his glossy onyx muzzle up and down and scurries holding his tail high. His amber eyes dart up to the man's face then back to his legs. He makes contact and purrs deeply leaning his body toward the leg while continuing in a forward prance.
The man doesn't notice the feline so it switches direction and rubs his sleek fur against the other leg in a deeper lean. The man ignores him again. The cat now steps over a black leather shoe and looks back with a flitting tail. The man doesn't break his concentration. The man is transfixed in his work. He bypassed lunch and dinner for his usual trial and error attempts. It is yet another long arduous day for the solemn solitary scientist.
The cat now opens his mouth and begins to mew begging for his attention.
The man's eyes never look over to him.
The cat now sticks his paw up and taps on his leg. The man ignores him once again.
The cat now lets his claws out and tugs at the wool fiber.
"Ouuch!"
The cat appears to be smiling.
