"Here you are Haruhi this is the apartment that I have chosen for you." The evil business-like man waved an arm for dramatic effect showing the over expensively decorated family apartment.

"Kyoya how did you know I was even looking at apartments, and no I refuse. I own you enough debt as it is." She said with a doubtful but serious look in her pretty big eyes.

"Think of it as a gift," he replied innocently, giving her one of his most stunning smiles. Making him seem even more suspicious.

"A gift? From you? No thanks, besides it is way too big." Haruhi knew something was up, she tried to sneak out of the apartment without him noticing, but was stopped as his arm snaked around her waist to lead her farther into the "grand" apartment.

"Not at all, the two of us should be quiet comfortable here until you get use to my mansion." His arm tightened more as she tried to squirm her way out. Their eyes never meeting even though he watched her heavily behind his glasses.

"What." Her oblivious answer came as she finally looked up at him only to see he wasn't watching her but observing a lovely vase placed on a beautifully carved one legged table.

"Think of it as a marriage gift." He turned her deliberately down another hallway.

"We aren't married." She replied dryly not understanding.

"Then think of it as a proposal." He answered her finally looking back down at her their eyes catching in an almost touching moment before…. "And this is our bedroom."
