Cake Day!
My notes: Howdy! Kazzy here! And here's my first ficcy! Seems Meyrin-Hater deleted my other first fanfic…oh well…

It was a breezy Monday afternoon in the Athha household as everyone relaxed to the sound of Lacus' voice. It was the day before Kira and Cagalli's 20th birthday and everyone was trying to come up with a plan on how to celebrate it. So far, Murrue was the only one who had the most brilliant idea: They'd all bake a cake with 5 layers—5 very different flavors--and in the center of the topmost layer they'll stick a third copy of the twins' picture with their mom. Everyone was delighted to here this. Dearka said he'd bake a chocolate flavored layer for the base and decorate it with white icing. Perfect. Cagalli loved chocolate! And so their work began.
(My Notes: The twins were at the PLANTs. Kira's the new Prime Minister of Orb.)

"My, how on earth are we going to fit it in the fridge?" Lacus wondered aloud as Dearka, Athrun, and Yzak worked on the base layer.
"Gosh…You're right!" Answered Meyrin. (Another note: All of the remaining characters are in this story.)
They all pondered for a moment until Mu spoke up.
"I say we go and buy a huge freezer and place the layers side by side. We can always stack them tomorrow morning."
"Great idea, Mr. I-make-the-impossible-possible," said Luna, "but it'll cost us!"
"Yeah it will, but you'll see how happy the twins will look like after they see the cake."

By the time Mu and Vino got back with the freezer the third and fourth layers were done, and everyone were just standing in the huge kitchen; frequently looking up at the giant chandelier mounted on the ceiling.
"What took you so long!" Luna asked as she tapped her foot on the marble floor like a fuchsia-furred bunny.
"There was this old DERANGED woman who tried to steal the freezer from us, but we were quick! We got out the store in record time. When we looked back, we saw her mooning us! What an ugly, wrinkled butt! It was covered with warts!"
Everyone was disgusted at Vino's story.
"Shall we place the cakes in the freezer? Don't forget, we still have to clean the kitchen—is the fifth layer ready?" Lacus asked as she dabbed a piece of worn-out cloth on the counter.
"Yup! Sweet, sweet strawberry!" Dearka appeared holding a tray with the pink layer.
"Smells GOOD!"

-May 18 75 C.E.-
Today is the day to stack five cake layers together!
Athrun was the first to wake up. He showered; put on his clothes--the usual, turtleneck with black pants--and brushed his shiny blue hair. He even sprayed on some cologne.
The first thing he saw, in the kitchen, was the freezer that seemed like it came from nowhere. He moved quickly, opening the lid and taking the layers out one by one.
Kira and Cags would be back any minute now!
As he stacked the first three layers, Meyrin walked in, followed by Youlan.
"Need help?" Youlan asked as he took hold of the last layer.
Meyrin took a spatula and the icing they made the night before (coffee flavor).
She gently slapped the icing on the topmost layer of the cake and began forming little roses on the sides.
It looked like a tower with plants growing on top of it!
What's missing from this scene? You guessed it! Mayhem!
