Rachel Berry has never liked scary movies.

Her fathers LOVED scary movies though. They'd convince her to watch with them, and so she would (why? She'll never know). After each movie, she'd try and fall asleep. It was hard. When her eyelids finally closed, she end up waking up from a horrible nightmare where she's left sweating and panting in her dark, eerie room. She's NEVER had a good time watching them. After watching a horribly creepy movie, she vowed never to watch any more movies she'd regret.
That is until Sam Evans became her boyfriend.

He loved that genre of movie almost as much as her dads. He says watching scary scenes helped take his mind off of whatever stupid crap was going on in his life at the moment.

Puck announced to the glee club Tuesday that he would be hosting the 1st annual Puckerman Home Alone Scary Movie Marathon. His parents and siblings would be out of town and what better way to spend the time than getting the beans scared of you with your friends?

So here she sits, on the couch watching Scream 3 (the previous two she'd endured through). The whole time, she's glued to Sam's side, occasionally using his chest as a sheild from the creepy stuff going on on-screen. Most of the girls were in the same place she was (Brittney was freaked out and practically jumped onto Artie's lap when someone almost got their head chopped off in a pyscho movie, Santana made Puck sit on top of her so she wouldn't have to see the on-screen action, and so on.) The only girl that sat alone was Quinn, who didn't have a boyfriend at the time. At the 7 of them were the only glee clubbers able to make it. Quinn invited Finn to be her date, but apparently he wasn't man enough to see Rachel and Sam being all couple-y when he had just realized her still loved her, so he declined and stayed home to mope. After the movie was over Quinn, Brittney, and Artie left (Quinn seperatly, Artie keeping Brittney company).

"Sam." Rachel whispered so she wouldn't wake up Santana and Puck, who recently fell asleep.

"Hmm?"
"Can we leave? I'll write them a note telling them we left so they don't think we got killed or something.."

"Sure, Rach. Let's go. And we'll just shoot (He laughed at the humor in his own voice as he said that, earning a punch from his girlfriend) sorry, them a text later on this evening to tell them I got you home safely."

"Um.. about that. Do you think you can stay over at my place? My dads are out of town all weekend and I couldn't imagine being home alone after all this."
"No need to ask me twice. Rach.."
"And no Sam, you will not be getting any action from me tonight."

"Darn."
