The Truth
"Come on! Tell her now!" Yusuke urged.
"Shut up. I know what to do," Hiei replied, annoyed, "Yukina!" He shouted.
"Yes?" Yukina, an ice apparition answered sweetly, with Kuwabara beside her.
"…"
"Spit it out Hiei!" Kuwabara exclaimed impatiently.
"Let him take his time. Some things cannot be hurried," Kurama said silently, with a gentle smile.
"Yukina… about your long lost brother…" Hiei began.
"Did you find him? Is he alive?" Yukina asked excitedly.
"I'm actually…"
Yukina looked up, with pure innocence.
"I'm actually your brother."
Yukina took a step back. Tears welled up in her eyes, "I… I… this can't be true. You told me he died. You lied…"
As tears gushed out of her eyes, Yukina ran out of the room. "Yukina wait!" Hiei grabbed her hand.
"I'm sorry for not telling you. I just wanted you to be happy. I'm sorry,"
Yukina looked up. She saw the kind, apologetic face that Hiei had. "Oniisan…" She whispered and hugged him close. "I'm so glad to have found you…"
The rest looked on as the two siblings were finally reunited.
"Hiei is Yukina's brother?"
Kuwabara broke the silence.
