"Taichi, let's go on a date."

"Uh...okay."

This is the first time he ever asked me out on a date. I don't know, it's usually me asking him.

"So...Why?" I asked.

"Why...what?" He asked back.

"Why are we going on a date? No, why are you asking me out on a date?"

"Well, because we're lovers! Lovers are supposed to go out on dates-"

"Yeah, I know that. I mean, I usually ask first." I cut him off. "Oh, well...because I want to know what it feels like to go on a normal, ordinary date."

What?

"You're talking like we've never go on date before. We've date plenty of times!"

"I said I want a normal date! Like normal couples!"

Normal? We're normal. I think.

"But...we're pretty normal...aren't we?" I asked.

"Um...The son of yakuza who ran away with his lover to America just to advance his career in music and then went back to Japan...Doesn't sound too normal..."

"Okay, yeah, you're right. But our dates, are normal, aren't they?"

"Our first date involved us running away from the guards of a casino,"

"Uh..." I tried to speak, but he cut me off.

"Our second one involved you almost going to jail because you stole a jewelry from the museum we were visiting."

"Right...But..."

"And our last date involved me getting kidnapped and trapped in a parking lot."

"Okay, fine! Maybe those ones-"

"Those are just examples. We have plenty of other failed dates."

"..." We stood in silence for a few seconds.

"Well, at least you never get bored, right?" I grinned.

"That's not the point!" Katsuya-san said as he walked away frustratedly. "Wah, I'm sorry! I was just trying to lighten up the mood!"

I got up from the sofa, and approached him.

"Instead of getting bored, I'm getting sick!" he said.

"Isn't that kind of the...same?" I asked.

"No, it's not! Taichi, I..." He said as he hold up my hands. " I just want a normal, ordinary, no over-excitement, date. Just the two of us, having dinner, watching the movies, maybe? Or having a walk around the park."

"O...kay."

"Just...okay?"

"I mean, sure. You want a date? Let's go on a date. Let's go somewhere fun!" I said, feeling kind of excited.

"Well, um...where do you want to go?" He asked. "You were the one inviting me. You should choose." I answered, grinning. "Um...The park?"

"Boring."

"The movies?"

"What are we going to watch there? All the movies right now are boring."

"You said you'd let me choose."

"Yep."

"But you're complaining on every of my suggestions."

"Oh...right. Okay, for real, I'll let you choose."

Katsuya-san sighed as I giggled.

"Mou...Okay. What about we go to the amusement park?"

"That's so mainstream- I mean, yeah, sure, let's go there."

"Geez, you..."

And so, our 'date' begins...

I don't know, their date is probably gonna get more fucked up than ever. Shit's always going on when Taichi's around. _
