Matsuri is my favourite character of the anime shukisho or Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shōganai! I always thought they didn't give his character enough attention. So one day I was whining about this to a friend, and she told me to shut up and go write about him. So here it is! Hope you like it! ( And / \are memories)

Matsuri walked trough the dark streets. It was 8 P.M. and the rain was pouring down. Matsuri didn't mind, because the rain made the streets empty. This way he could think about all the stuff that happened these days.
Matsuri was a blond hair, green eyed boy. His hair was just to his chin. His mom always cut it this way, because she said he looked like an angel. Matsuri didn't like the haircut but as long as it made her happy he didn't mind. She wasn't very happy these days. He remembered some days ago he had woken up because he hear shouting.
/Matsuri sat up from his bed. He heard voices coming from the kitchen and he walked as silent as he could to the door. "I can't take any more of this shit, Sun!" said a male voice Matsuri recognised as Lin, his mothers latest boyfriend: "I don't like him. He is getting all your attention. So you must choose: Me or him?" "Well, then it won't be difficult!" Matsuri's mom said: "I would choose Matsuri! He is more mature than you anyway!" Sun walked to the open front door and said "Bitch!" For that answer Matsuri's mother threw a glass at his head but he closed the door just in time. So the cup shattered in a million pieces to the door. After a few minutes his mom burst out in tears. Matsuri ran to his mother and hugged her till she stopped crying. When she calmed herself she said: "Well, its just me and you again!"\
In the past everything was not that bad thought Matsuri: Before… Before dad died. His dad had worked in a research facility and often brought him to play with the kids who would be there. Here lived his two best friends Sora and Sunoa. But then one day there was in accident with his car. It was a fatal crash and the police said he must have been drinking. His mum was furious. His dad did not drink, when he had to drive. But the police would not work on this case, so they would never know the truth.
This was a year ago and when a half year had past his mom got dating again to find a new dad for him. But Matsuri didn't wanted a new dad. Nobody could replace him. But his mom didn't want to be alone, so she dated a lot of guys. But somehow it went all wrong. Matsuri didn't like these men because a lot of them dislike him or even asked his mom to choose. Matsuri was afraid that one day she would choose a guy above him and he should have to go to an orphanage. Sora and Sunoa lived in a orphanage when they were younger and didn't like it. So Matsuri didn't want to go there.
He was going to the research facility to meet his friends. They always met each other each night. Matsuri was glad they did, because his mother was crying again and there was nothing he could do about it.
