Yes We Can
By Shadowgate
…...
Stan and Wendy's relationship continues in spite of drama.
…...
After the evening of the South Park Girls Volleyball Team having a victorious game against McNuggets Stan called out "Wendy let's talk because I owe you a major apology and not just for being stupid enough to drop out of school and try the kick starter bullshit."
Wendy gave Stan a stern look and said "well I'm glad you decided to show up to watch the girl's volleyball team in action."
Stan replied "well having just gotten back to school and the party project it's obvious sadly that I lost the ability to keep track of what you've been up to. You're always up to something good Wendy."
Wendy said "let's go to Stark's Pond."
When they arrived at Stark's Pond they sat by the lake.
Stan said "I'm so glad to be back with you and I'm also glad I found out you were on the volleyball team. I now regret making jokes. It's my understanding that Craig, Clyde, and Jimmy have also apologized."
Wendy said "yes they have."
Stan nodded and said "good."
Wendy said "I'm glad we're back in a relationship but there are some things I want to talk to you about."
Stan said "yes and if you're going to chew me out you can."
Wendy grabs Stan in a strong embrace.
"First of all Stanley high school dropouts don't make it with the exceptions of rock stars. What on earth made you think that dropping out of elementary school would work?"
Stan said "sheer arrogance on my part."
Wendy said "this was a stupid move even for Eric Cartman. Oh and you asked why Clyde Donovan remembered what you said? How could he have forgotten?"
Stan replied "he didn't forget and I must take responsibility for that stupid comment."
Wendy said "good and I hope you've learned a big Goddamn lesson from this."
Stan said "I sure have. I'm so glad you're here for me to hold me tight, hold me accountable, and hold me through the night."
Stan and Wendy hugged through the night. When Stan asked if kissing was an option Wendy answered "yes we can."
