'Libby, you should know…'Darren was in the kitchen on number 30, after everyone had heard Janae saying he should tell Libby.
'Don't say it' Janae said suddenly coming in the back door/
Libby looked from Darren to Janae, 'What's going on?'
'I…I' Darren started.
'He didn't do anything' Janae interrupted.
'Will one of you just tell me what's going on' Libby insisted.
'I kissed Darren' Janae said.
Libby turned to Darren, fury all over her face.
'No Libby, I kissed him, he didn't kiss me. He didn't' Janae insisted, 'Darren pulled away'
Libby looked at Janae, giving her a cold hard stare, 'Why should I believe you?'
'Because it's the truth' Janae said, 'I was angry, and I wanted to get back at Ned, and Darren was there. I didn't mean to hurt anyone, I was just angry'
Libby still didn't say anything, she just looked from Janae to Darren.
'Libby, Darren loves you, there's no doubt about that' Janae continued 'And I love Ned. I understand if you hat me, but please don't be angry with Darren. He did the right thing'
'Get out' Libby said to Janae.
'I'm so sorry' Janae replied and walked out.
Libby turned to Darren, 'Is what she said true?'
Darren nodded, 'Yes'
'You pulled away?'
'Yes'
'Thank you' Libby said and let him hug her. Then she leaned forwards and kissed him.
'Eww' Ben said coming into the kitchen.
Libby turned to face him and both her and Darren laughed.
Later on Darren saw Janae in the street.
'I don't know why you did that' He said, 'But thanks'
'I did it for two reasons' Janae answered, 'Firstly it was basically the truth, but more importantly if me and Ned can move on from this, it's only fair you and Libby can. I realised earlier that Mickey deserves a stable home, with Ned and I. And it's the same with Ben' Janae paused, smiled and added, 'Oh and I didn't want to be responsible for ruining 3 peoples lives'
Darren smiled back, 'Well thanks' And they walked in opposite directions home.
