Young Ji Hae Cho was put into a large house.
The doors of paper were decorated of butterflies and Rose of Sharons.
Quietly, she sat there in her room.
No one was there to feed her, so she made her meals with what she was offered.
They were very gourmet foods, but whatever she ate, it always tasted dull.
It couldn`t taste right unless her family was there.
Making the food, laughing, singing, and dancing with them.
One day, the door had opened.
Opening it, there was a no man she knew of.
The man reached out to her, for some reason she couldn`t move.
But,the man stopped. A red liquid spat out of his mouth.
Her eyes widened.
A soldier wearing heavy armor had struck the man.
"Please, relax, princess," the soldier said, carrying the man`s body.
But young Ji Hae screamed.
Backing into her room, tripping on the door edge.
The soldier sighed sadly, "I`m sorry."
He closed the door, footsteps splashing away.
She just sat there, petrified.

She hid in the corner of the room, under the table.
She hugged her knees high, eyes watering.
She understood now.
There was war going on between her two elder brothers.
I don`t understand, she thought, they loved each other so much.
Why would this happen?
Ji Hae then remembered,a song her own brother sang to her.

Butterfly*
Butterfly
Won`t you come and play with us?
Yellow butterfly
White butterfly
Dancing all around us

She softly sang until she fell asleep.
On the cold, hard floor.

After her years of solitude, the doors finally opened.
She was much older and braver.
But with the man who came in, she couldn`t help to bawl.
"Oppa*..." She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Ji Hae... I`m so glad to see you again..."
They both cried.
"Oppa..."
"I missed you...I`m sorry..."
Im Yong Soo embraced his young capital.
His little sister.
Put into solitude for the safety of his young capital.
Now almost his height.
The Korean war had ended, and he won.
"Yong Soo!" Someone who had accompanied him in his war, called out.
"Alfred..." Yong Soo and the man shook hands before embracing.
"This must be the famous Ji Hae!" Alfred smiled at her,
"Not only is your name easy to say,but it`s real pretty*!
For a pretty girl of course!" Ji Hae hid her face in Yong Soo`s clothing.
"Alfred... You`re sounding like France," Im Yong muttered.
Alfred chuckled, "Hey, just sayin', Yong Soo."

Ji Hae had gained the courage and beauty of Korea.
A true Korean, alongside her older brother.
She wore a pink and red hangbok*.
Her hair into a short style, but with a beautiful clip.
"Morning, Kiku-oppa!" She said casually to the man walking past them.
"Oh...Ji Hae-hime-sama*..." He bowed,his face a bit sad.
"Hey! Don`t just look at me sadly! And just say Ji Hae-chan like you usually do!"
She had grown tired of just princess.
And besides, Ji Hae-hime... That was kind of a tongue twister...
Kiku smiled, "My apologies..." His face fell again.
"My deepest apologies..."
Ji Hae hit his head, "I got it already! Just hurry your ass up to Oppa-nim*`s house!"
Ji Hae pushed him up stairs and a door, to finally reach Im Yong`s house.
A time to settle down from the war.
