Chapter 1-The Drop Zone
My name is what used to be Aron but I guess is now Lance by what I heard. All I remember is being in this huge fire separated from my family the blacking out. Then I woke up in this weird chrome building. I asked where I was and a strange robot like person told me I was in the Gap Zone where people are saved when a world is in danger. I then asked," Well then where is the rest of my family?" He replied," Only those with a destiny are saved. Your family did not have one so they died with the rest of the world." This must be a dream but since I stubbed my toe walking into the next room it wasn't a dream. I was not over reacting to the annunciation that my family was dead because I had dreams of things like this so I was prepared.
So I walked into a waiting room like area when I asked what was going on the clerk responded," This is the drop room, here all destined people go to the universe that needs to be saved." I was walking to sit down, but I saw a mirror. When I looked into it, I saw what did not look like me at all. I was so startled, I fell backwards." I forgot to tell you that people get new bodies when they drop." When I examined myself I noticed I had spiky gold hair, blue eyes and some awesome clothes." I look kinda cool.", I said.
"One more thing before you drop, when you do, you don't remember anything that happened before you drop until you gather all 7 chaos emeralds.",the clerk said. So I dropped into the white abyss hoping I survive. I have no idea what I'm getting into.
