Ino was in a karaoke bar. So what? She loved to sing, and this was the only place she could do it. She got on stage and held the mic, singing as if the world would end tomorrow. The introducer knew her name, and the crowd loved her.

Tonight however was different. Tonight her teammates had decided that they'd show up. Whether it was for the food or Ino, Ino may never know. Ino felt that twist in her stomach like she always did when she went to the stage, told them a song, and sang the first verse. Always. But being around Shikamaru made her feel the same way. Like singing a song.

Ino tonight, was wearing her signature purple shirt and black knee length cutoffs. Her hair pulled high onto her head, bangs hanging in her eyes. Tonight the bangs were a light lavender color.

The music started.

She looked towards Shikamaru and Chouji. Chouji was eating and clapping. How he managed to do that, she had no idea. She felt the beats go through her as she danced like she was fourteen again-a happy carefree wild child.

Shikamaru caught Ino's eye. She smiled at him, only slightly since she was trying to sing as well. Shikamaru smirked finding his teammate's act funny. He caught onto her plan, that small plan to drop a hint of where she was going to be and what she was doing, while at lunch to trick him into coming to watch her. Shikamaru rolled his eyes at that plan. There was one flaw. He wasn't supposed to know. But then again, it worked.
