Fallen From Grace

I stood and fought against you

I denied what I felt

I continuously fought against your warriors

But now you see me here, with all my emotions bare

Will you leave me to my own destruction?

Or will you save me from myself

I've fallen from grace; I don't think anything can save me

I've fallen from grace; I don't think I can get up again

I know your standing there

Just watching me as I fall apart

The darkness within me has finally come to surface

The darkness tries to take me

The Heart tries to light a way

I don't know what to do

I'm so lost and confused

I fall to the ground holding my head

I know they all now see me, warring against myself

You walk closer, till your right in front of me.

I know your right there

But this time it's different

You whisper in my ear

"The war is not yet lost love"

My eyes shut tight

"This can't be real"

My thoughts are so loud

"You're falling from grace; I can save you"

"I've fallen from grace; there is nothing left for me"

Your lips touch my own

"The darkness rules within us both. We are each others saving grace"

I nod my head slowly.

"We've fallen from grace, but we can save each other."

You pull me up

I hear the stunned silence on the field

My friends all feel betrayed

The rebels lose hope

That is not my cause anymore

I've fallen from Grace

He's fallen from grace

But we can save each other
