It was always been, Roxas/Naminé for Kairi/Sora. They'd pretend otherwise but it always was, and always will be.

All along, she knew. She didn't pretend to think otherwise. He knew what she was thinking about every time he looked at her, and she looked back with almost-sorry and pleading eyes. Eventually he stopped looking and she couldn't be happier (except that was a lie and it killed her non-heart). Sometimes he'd lie and say he was fighting for her and not her other. Sometimes she pretended to believe him for her own selfish happiness and pretended not to know he was always, always fight for the princess (they were all fighting for the princess: the hero, the dark one. Honestly, she couldn't see that was so great about her anyway.)

"I love you all along," she/he screamed, but he/she walked away. A laugh echoed, "Guess we really were never a fairy tale, anyway, Roxas/Naminé."

NOTES:

1. Updating old fanfiction — 9/2/09

2. — Sora/Kairi, Roxas/Naminé, Naminé/Sora, Roxas/Kairi. Everyone with everyone. Except Riku. He was suppose to be the referenced 'Dark one' in Naminé's, but came out as Roxas.
