Twilight and her friends wandered through the corridors of the abandoned castle, led here on a search for a book, supposed to contain the secret to eternal life. Pinkie's tail was telling her something big was about to go down. The things they would encounter though, were nothing even she could have predicted. Fluttershy was shivering and shaking, she could never have guessed the horrors they would be subjected to though. Rarity complained of the filth; this should have been the least of her worries. Dash was trying to assure Fluttershy she could handle whatever came their way; there was nothing about this she could handle though. Applejack was looking at Rarity complete disdain in her eyes. Twilight strode in front of them all, Spike on her back.
"T-T-Twilight? You don't really need that book right? I mean it's just eternal life, nothing big," Spike said with a shiver, looking from side to side nervously as they walked the halls.
"Of course I need that book Spike!" Twilight replied cheerfully, "That book could change the world as we know it! Imagine a world where nopony ever dies!"
"Yeah Spike! Imagine!" Pinkie bounced excitedly, "Nopony would ever die, and then there would be little ponies like Pound and Pumpkin, and ponies wouldn't have to sleep to stay alive, and life would be one big party forever!"
Applejack sighed,"Pinkie that sounds nice and all but ah don't think that's how it-" there was a groan from above, and a chandelier fell, shattering in front of them.
