A/N Just a little something I wrote today when I was bored. Review!
James bounded down the dormitory stairs and leaped into the Gryffindor common room. Sirius looked quizzically at him as he raced toward the portrait hole.
'Prongsie, where're you going?' he called.
James jumped, he had completely forgotten that Sirius got up early.
'I'm going to tell Lily I love her,' he said excitedly.
Sirius leapt to his feet and shook James's whole arm. 'May God's speed be with you!' he exclaimed.
'What the hell does that mean?'
'I dunno. I like feeling smart.'
'Whatever floats your boat Padfoot. See ya!'
He raced down the stairs and burst into the Great Hall, skidding to a halt to look for Lily. He finally spotted her at the end of the Gryffindor table.
'Lilypaaad!' he called. She turned her head wearily to him, her red hair swishing.
'No, I will not go out with you. Now leave me alone, I have a Transfiguration test today.'
He grinned at her and bounced up, plopping down in the seat beside her.
'What makes you think I was going to ask you out, Lilykins?'
She went a bit red. It was the most beautiful thing James had ever seen.
'Oh, so, you weren't?'
'Nope. I was just going to give you this.'
He leaned in and captured her lips with a kiss. To his great surprise, she kissed him back.
