A/N my first Blake Holsey High Story. Please review.
Josie, Lucas, Vaughn, Corrine and Marshall left the room, leaving Tyler Jessop on his own in the Professor's Z office. "Now, where could the vortex be?" Tyler muttered as he paced around the room. Suddenly, he saw a red glow, just in front of the desk. He ran to it and jumped in.
He felt light and tingly, as if his body did not belong to him. Then he reached the end of the tunnel. He heard a voice, that was strangely familiar to him, and his surroundings were blurry. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes. Instantly, everything became clear. He looked around him, and saw dozens, hundreds, of Tylers looking around.Then he heard the voice again.
"Hello, Tylers. I am Andreas Avenir. You may call me Andreas. I am but a humble man. I was forsaken by family, that let me to my ultimate quest. Now, my quest cannot be fulfiled without the help of you, Tyler. You are all from alternate universes. My quest is rather simple. To rule the world! Now this may seem childish to you, something out of a book, or a movie, or even a television serial. I assure you my plans are very real. I cannot conquer the world on my first try, or my second. There are hundreds of worlds out there for me to practice, and maybe conquer. I am not greedy. One conquered universe is enough for me. Now, in the jungle behind, you will be sent out to find a wormhole. It doesn't look like a wormhole though. Since you all are the same, your intelligence, and brawn will be equal, so if I send you on the same path, I will not find an outright winner. Thus, you will each be sent on different paths. Be warned! The end of the path doesn't have what you are looking for. It could be anywhere near the path. The winner's world will be the first world I attempt to conquer. But I will try all of your worlds though. For you, the moment you get back to your world, the moment I try to conquer it. If I suceed, you will be my right hand man, and my partner. I will brief you later what to do after you go back to your world," Avenir ended his speech and led each Tyler to the start of their paths.
Tyler went forth, walking slowly, looking around, searching for anything like a wormhole, while pondering Andreas's words. And then he found it. A patch of quicksand lay next to the path. He pondered for a second, knowing that if he was wrong, he would die. He decided against it, but fell headfirst accidentaly, after tripping on a stone.
He fell through it quickly, almost as if it wasn't quicksand. He landed headfirst on a patch of dusty ground, covering him with dust. A few Tylers snickered. He looked around and saw that a few dozens had already arrived before him.
"Right, you are no. 51. For the next eight days you will have to go to the forest at 5, go into the middle, and you will hear voices. Obscure voices. If you are able to understand three words, know that one of the places has ben conquered. If you hear no voices, something has gone wrong, and it is best to do nothing.Nod and reply with the words, "I understand. I'll be ready." When even 1 syllable is changed, I will know something has gone wrong, and I will not come. You will also receive a scholarship to Avenir Institute." Avenir told him.
When all the Tylers had come, they were each shown the wormhole through which they came from. Tyler then left too.
