Her man

Seven of Nine, or Commander Annika Hansen as she is now known has never been much for sweet little love-stuff such as using terms of endearment. She do know more than well what it is though. After all while still being Seven, while aboard Voyager she assimilated several million tera-quads of data. Even if she's now 100% human after Doctor Beverly Crusher and Voyager's EMH removed her last Borg implants, a great deal of information is still left in her human brain so if you'd ask her, Annika could tell you exactly what a term of endearment is.

Annika has been married to Captain Chakotay for 10 years now. They got married a year after Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant and last year Annika gave birth to her and Chakotay's daughter named Taya, the female version of the name Chakotay. Her full name being Taya Rose Hansen.

Despite the fact that Annika has no problem with understanding the concept of a term of endearment she never refer to her husband as anything other than Chakotay since she became his wife. Annika speak about 20 languages, including spanish, arabic, latin, gaelic and german as well the language of the Klingon, Vulcan, Ferengi, Cardassian, Talaxian, Romulan, Bajoran, Ocampa and Kazon. She also speak the language of Chakotay's native american tribe too, of course. Still, in all those different languages there's no word that she feel is worthy of use for her man. For some time she considered spanish, but she didn't think it would really feel right to refer to Chakotay as mi amor. She's also considered german. She gave up on that one too though. To refer to Chakotay as meine Liebe could probably be weird. Especially since she's pretty sure that her husband doesn't speak german. For a short time Annika also considered latin, but to call Chakotay dulcis would sound stupid to most people so she didn't go with that one either. When she spoke to Neelix over the transgalactic com-link he suggested the Talaxian phrase for my dear / my love which is noy chalame, but Annika didn't find that one suitable at all. So she just call him Chakotay, since in her mind that's the best term of endearment she could ever use.

Chakotay doesn't really care that his wife never call him 'darling' 'honey' 'my love' or anything like that. He still love her no matter what.

Chakotay himself usually refer to his wife as Annika while out and about or sometimes 'baby' 'sexy one' or 'Seven' in private.

Those are the only terms of endearment that he'll ever need for his wife as far as he is concerned. You really don't have to make it so damn complicated. It's really not that important what you call your significant other as long as both are okey with whatever name you use for each other.

What really matter is that you love and respect your soul mate for who she or he actually is.

So Annika refer to her husband by his name Chakotay and that's okey for both of them. They love each other in every way possible.
