"Hey, I need a massive favour."

Donna looked up from her computer to see Harvey standing in front of her. She turned back to her screen and continued typing while nonchalantly saying, 'what'.

"I need a fake wife…for tonight," he said bluntly. She stopped typing and looked up at him, perplexed.

"Wow. I'm going to need you to elaborate on that one," she said.

"Okay so I really need to land this new client and everything was going well until he accused me of being single."

"Accused?"

"Yeah he said it like he was implying that I'm the emotionally-unavailable-type or something."

"Oh god, can't imagine why!"

"Ha ha, whatever, I panicked. I need him to like me so I said that I was happily married."

"And…?"

"Aaaand, then he asked me and my beautiful wife out to dinner tonight. Only problem is…" Donna cut him off before he could finish.

"You don't have a beautiful wife," she said with a smirk on her face. She was finding this all too amusing.

"Can you please pretend to be my wife tonight?" he asked her.

"Hell no." Donna was quick to reply with a slight chuckle.

"I'll give you anything you want!"

"Anything?" she asked.

"Anything" he said. "Within reason," he quickly added.

"How about I get Friday off?"

"What? No way!"

"Fine, have fun convincing someone to pretend to be your wife tonight." Donna shrugged.

"Okay fine!" Harvey said grumpily. Donna simply smiled up at him. "I'll pick you up at 8." He strode into his office and sat down at his desk. Suddenly Donna heard his voice over the intercom say "and this goes without saying but, you need to look hot."

"I think you're forgetting who you're talking to." Donna replied into the intercom. She looked into his office and gave him a wink.
