Chapter 1: How Many Walls Are There?
Mario sat in his house along with his younger brother Luigi eating cheese popcorn. There was a long awkward silence as the two sat themselves in front of the television.
"Bro?" Luigi said bringing up a conversation.
"Yes?" Mario answered.
"Have you ever broken the fourth wa-," Luigi began but Mario quickly covered his younger brother's mouth.
"Quiet, we aren't supposed to know that we are in a video game," Mario whispered while looking around.
"But aren't we on fanfic-," Luigi started but Mario quieted him again. Mario looked around curiously and then jumped behind the sofa. Luigi looked all around and then at his brother giving him a weird look. Mario signaled Luigi to come by him and the younger Mario brother followed.
"Look, I'm not sure they're watching but this is serious. We can't break the fourth wall, we can't drink, and we can't play football," Mario informed in a whispered.
"We play football all the time," Luigi responded.
"American Football, that's just madness," Mario whispered.
"So what happens if we break the fourth wall?" Luigi asked quietly.
"I've never tried, but I heard it isn't good. We are in this society and we have to live in it!" Mario explained.
"Is this a script?" Luigi said while looking forward and smiling along with his older brother.
"Yeah, and we can't be doing this. Just imagine what Satoru will do to us?" Mario spoke through a smile.
"He really is a nice guy though," Luigi said while smiling. Soon he stopped.
"What are you doing?" Mario asked his younger brother as Luigi stood up.
"I think that it is completely fine to break the fourth wall. Have you seen how many times Link has done it? He's a legend!" Luigi informed.
"It doesn't matter, we can't and that's the end of it!" Mario said now sit down.
"No I'm tried of this. Ladies and Gentlemen, Males and Females, Spongebob and Patrick. I AM NOW BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!" Luigi yelled.
"Luigi don't-," Mario began and then everything went black...
