The rain pours with me in defiance

Hostility rages inside me with no repentance

Blood flows from within me in grievance

Together in patience

We lay awake

Your fingers the master of my strings

Your shadow the only proof of what life brings;

Agony, hatred and sweetly deceiving choices

Whispered by those driven voices.
