AN: Just a collection of Dally/Johnny one-shots. Slash. Don't like, don't read. There will be probably be three each chapter. Hope you enjoy it! :)
1. Cool
Johnny had always admired Dalla's ability to keep cool in difficult situations. Every time they encountered a Soc, or sometimes the police, Johnny always noticed the way Dally's jaw set, his eyes growing even colder than usual and his fists clenching into tight rocks.
One of twice, Dally had caught him staring as he negotiated his way out, flashing a half-annoyed, half-confused look in Johnny's direction. When this happened, Johnny always felt patches of red blossoming over his cheeks before he quickly averted his eyes again to the front, hoping that Dally wouldn't look back at him again in fear of further embarrasment.
But all throughout the conversation, sometimes cool, sometimes heated and rushed, Dally would always sneak a second's glance back at Johnny, only to find him staring blankly into the sky in his refusal to look back again.
2. Blue
"But why not, Dally?" Johnny looked up questioningly at Dally, his wide brown eyes childishly inquisitive. Dally smiled slightly at the innocence in Johnny's eyes, something he had not seen in himself since before he was shown the real world. Johnny's head was nestled in Dally's lap, comfortable as multiple patches of sunlight fell onto the pair through the shade of the trees. "You could make it blue if you wanted to, though, couldn't you?" Dally just smiled and shook his head, continuing to absentmindly run his fingers through Johnny's hair. But, all in all, he thought, maybe blue birthday cake wouldn't be so bad.
3. Different
Dally pushed people away. He didn't need family, or friends, or a partner. He was alone, and he liked it like that. It was simply just the way he liked to live.
That is, until he met Johnny.
Of course, he had had many girlfriends, and more one-night stands than he could count to know how clingy people could get, how sentimental.
But Johnny was different.
He was everything to Dally. Johnny was sweet and innocent, but not boring like most nice people were. He was an outcast, like him. Dally liked that.
But Dally still couldn't figure it out. Everyday it seemed like he learned something new about Johnny, even though he thought he knew everything about him. But somehow Dally didn't mind. Because every single different thing that he learned was something worth knowing.
