So this is my first fic ever! Whoo hoo! Its How I hope they start off season three. Hope you like. Btw, for the record I wish I owned Robin Hood, or any of the characters, but alas I don't and doubt I ever will .

Robin became vaguely aware of someone yelling something at him, or at least, at someone named Robin. He decided this didn't concern him considering he didn't know who he was, or where he was, or what was happening…. All he was aware of was he was lying on something pleasant and it was amiably warm around him. Curiosity started to bother him so he sluggishly started to analyze his mind to try to remember something…anything...

MARIAN. Then he remembered. He saw Marian next to a big hole, then he saw himself carrying her. He saw her lying in his arms, his wife, and her lifeless face. He saw her marrying him then smiling sadly in his arms; aware of her inevitable death. It was as though he were watching the events of the last day in rewind, going backwards. It all seemed so surreal. It seemed too surreal. He saw her proclaiming to Gisbourne that she loved him, Robin. Marian, you're not that stupid he thought as he watched his love grin and Gisbourne's face fall. You know better than to anger him while he's armed and you're not. You knew better, you knew you could have stalled him and still saved the king, and lived. And lived…

"Master! You have to WAKE UP!" suddenly Robin was jerked into consciousness. He was drenched in water and saw Much standing immediately above him holding a waterskin still dripping a little water. He sat up and wiped his face, he saw the others; the rest of his gang. "Wha… What happened?" He suddenly realized he was lying in the sand; there were wooden posts next to him. So that's what was comfortable, the sand. Then he remembered what had just been haunting him. "Marian!!" He yelled in panic. "Marian, where's Marian!!" He'd cut Djaq off mid-sentence, she'd been saying something about Carter, and lack of water resulting in overheating. "Where is she?!" he truly panicked. He tried to get up but Djaq pushed him roughly back down saying something about conserving energy and to calm down. But he could not calm down, his sense of alarm was rising rapidly.

"I'm right here." said the sweetest voice in the world, the only voice in the world. "I'm right here." Marian repeated soothingly. She'd been standing behind him, but now she squatted down next to him and put her hand on his cheek. "And you need to take it easy before you pass out again." He smiled. She could always make him smile. "I dreamt… I dreamt we lost you. I dreamt…" he flinched, horrified by things he'd seen. His eyes actually started to tear up a bit out of terror and then he was overwhelmed by such a sense of happiness…. It hadn't been real. It isn't real. He opened his eyes and saw the woman he loved. He laughed, he laughed out of relief. "I'm fine." She said, grinning at his merriment, and putting a hand to his cheek. "If I were you I'd be slightly less concerned with me and more concerned with my own well-being." She grinned jokingly at him. The others had all started grinning themselves once they were certain their leader was alright, if a bit shaken. Much had started chuckling with his master once he'd started laughing. "Now what say you drink some water…" At this she turned around to Djaq to get a waterskin Carter had brought them. "and then we go save England and the king? Hmm?" She smiled deviously at him - offering the waterskin. He smiled broadly, his famous Robin Hood grin, then took it. "Sounds like a plan." And he downed a gulp of water, as the others cheered.
