This will be part of a one-shot series I'm writing.
"Well we'll be off then." Molly stated. The Weasely's along with Harry and Hermione would be going to France to see Fleur's family for Christmas. Harry stood by the kitchen table his arm wrapped around Ginny's shoulders. Katrina wrapped her best friends in a hug.
"You have a nice Christmas and write every chance you get, that goes for all of you!" Katrina stated looking around at the lot! Sirius chuckled smiling.
"Will do bye guys take care." Harry laughed. Giving each person a hug in turn. With that they left all hands on an old bottle from who knows what. They twirled out of sight leaving the other five behind. Remus and Tonks would be leaving in a few days to spend Christmas with Tonks' family.
A few days past leaving Katrina and Sirius alone. It was Christmas Eve and Katrina sat by the fire reading. Hands reached out covering her eyes.
"Guess who?" a voice Katrina know all too well said. She giggled.
"Let me guess? Oh I know! Is it Sirius Black, by any chance?" She replied Grinning. The hands pulled away and spun her chair around. A soft kiss was placed on her lips; sparks spread threw her body like a wild fire. Sirius pulled back his silver gray eyes gazed into Katrina's chocolate brown ones. Katrina could see love in those gray eyes. And she returned it in full. This would be there third Christmas together and there first anniversary since they started dating. She didn't care about their age difference she loved him with all her being. "What might I ask are you doing Mr. Black?" She asked smiling. Sirius smiled at her before going down on one knee and pulling a small velvet box from his pocket. Katrina stared happiness overcoming her when she realized what he was doing.
"Katrina I have known you for 5 long years, back when I first met you, you were just a child, my godsons annoying friend, but I have watch you grow from that annoying kid into a brave intelligent beautiful women. I know I am much older then you and that I am lucky to have you. Katrina I have loved you for more than a year now and I know I will love you until the end of time. Will you Katrina Amelia Sparks do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Katrina stared at him tears filling her eyes.
"YES" she leapt out of her chair and threw her arms around his neck. "Yes, Of course I'll marry you Sirius!" She said happily trying with all her might not to squeal. Sirius kissed her putting all his love into that one kiss. He slid the ring onto her left ring finger grinning more than he had ever before.
