"Excuse me? Are you Andy McNally?"

Andy looked up at the young boy, he would have only been about 18, "yes, yes I am. Sorry I must look like a mess, who are you?"

"That's not really important now, but I'm Sam's nephew, my mother, Sarah, she couldn't get down here as soon as I could, so here I am." The young boy looked her over, all of a sudden Andy felt very self-conscious.

"Oh, I didn't know Sam had any nieces or nephews. The doctors have kicked me out, he's just come out of surgery, should be waking up soon providing he doesn't want to stay stubborn." The boy got a laugh out of that, "my uncle can be very stubborn when he wants to be."

Suddenly Andy gasped, "how, how do you know who I am, if you haven't even met me?" The boy looked at her bemused, my uncle may not have told you about us, but he has certainly told us about you, or at least me."

Andy couldn't even speak, an O formed with her mouth. She realized, whilst he may not have taken her to meet his family, they knew her. Of course he loved her, she knew that, but to think he did in fact talk about her, well that, that was a relief.

Dov walked up to them and introduced himself it seems in the time that Andy was still in her state of shock, to which the two men chuckled. "Chloe's parents have arrived and kicked Wes out."

"Why are you here then?" Andy asked.

"I gave them some time with their daughter, everyone needs some time alone with their loved ones".

Andy couldn't help but smile, "you are very wise".

"What can I say, Doves are the smart and pretty version of pigeons".

The young boy laughed at the two of them. Andy changed her focus of attention. "Are you close to your uncle then?"

"Very. I imagine I'll get to know you well too Andy." He smiled at her.

'Providing Sam's not a stubborn ass and finally wakes up'. Andy thought.

"He'll wake up, trust me." Andy's eyes widened in surprise, 'crap, you said that out loud you idiot'.

The young man, or, Sam's nephew only laughed as Andy put her now crimson face in her hands.
