Prologue

Titans Tower

WOOOP!-OOOP!-WOOOP!-OOOP!-WOOOP!-OOOP!-WOOOP!-OOOP!-WOOOP!-OOOP!-WOOOP!-OOOP!

"TITANS!" The masked leader called out. "There's a disturbance!" His hands danced across the keyboard as little screens popped up all over the main screen. "Power is down in most of Jump City, that means the electrical plant is under attack," he went on once the rest of the team had assembled around the main screen.

"Killowat?" Cyborg asked as Robin pulled up an image from the petrol station camera from across the street of the Electric plant.

"No, it seems Doctor Light is behind this." Robin's eyebrows furrowed at the screen.

"Doctor Light?! Wait - What? What on earth would he want there?" Beast Boy leaped off the couch. His eyes on Raven to see how she had reacted. Though he knew what he would see, the usual: hood up, covered face, distanced from everyone. She was good at hiding her reactions to the world around her as well as her emotions. 'Why does she still hide away from us? I thought that after this last week at least she wouldn't hide from me.'

Raven instead moved closer to Robin and Cyborg to look at the screen better. Her bright eyes staring deeply into the screen, the screen lighting up from the flashing white and blue streaks caused by the electrical arcs.

"It doesn't matter what he wants, we're gonna blast 'im aint we Rae?" Cyborg nudged Raven's arm and smiled at her, before turning and walking towards the elevator with the rest of the team. The three of them discussing their technique and battle strategies.

Beast Boy waited behind for Raven to turn around towards the elevator. It had already gone down; which gave the two time to talk while they waited for it to come back up to take them towards the roof. They would cover the air, while the rest went in on land, with the titan car.

"Uh-" He paused. What would he say to her? He didn't exactly want her going out to face Doctor Light, battles with him have always bothered her, especially since... But he can't, if he said anything or tried to stop her... 'That would only prove her right, I won't stop her from being apart of the team!'

"Hey Beast Boy." Her voice was soft and cool in his ears, he looked up at her. Her big, dark eyes were shining in the light, the circular lights from the stairs ringing her pupils and caused her eyes to show off a hundred different shades of purple.

"Yeah Raven?" His face felt very warm, she had silently snuck up on him and was rather close. Though not as close as he would have liked.

"The elevator is here." A small smile played on her porcelain skin. She slowly drifted away from him, her warmth going with her, as she floated up the stairs and past the doors. "Are you coming?"
