But Lia was not gone yet. She was still here. I could feel her presence. Then suddenly I felt something push me forward and fell to the ground. I looked around but nothing was there. But I know it was her.
"Laurie, are you alright?" Jeff yelled while running towards me.
"I'm fine." I answered trying to get off the ground. I tried to get up but there was a scrape on my knee that hurt when I moved. Jeff reached me and helped me up.
"Are you hurt?" he asked worried.
"Jeff. I'm fine." I repeated.
I looked around again, and still did not see her. Where is she? I know she is here. I can feel she here.
"Laurie." Lia called. "I'm here." she said in a taunting voice.
"Is the ghosty here?" Megan asked.
" Yes she is." I answered looking around. Where is she? She has to be here somewhere.
"Laurie, I'm over here." Lia called again.
"Show yourself!" I yelled.
Then I heard someone scream. It was a girl screaming. Megen. I looked around and saw megan floating in the air. Lia was carrying her.
"Laurie. Help me!" Meagan shreked.
"Don't worry I'm coming," I yelled running to her. What do I do? I can't get up there. I turned to Jeff only to see him running around like a chicken without it's head. He was so freaked out.
"Jeff," I called to him. But he did not hear me.
"Jeff," I yelled louder. Then he looked at me.
"Yes," he asked with a questioning voice.
"What do I do?" I asked beginning to cry. Jeff ran over to me and held me.
"I don't know but we need to do something fast." he said.
"Laurie. Help me." Megan cried. I looked up and saw that Lia was rising higher and higher.
"I'm coming Megan. Hold on." I yelled back. Then it hit me. I knew what I had to do.
"Jeff I have to astral project to save her. " I told him with confidence. He looked at me like I was crazy.
"You can't. Last time you astral projected, Lia stole your body." Jeff cried.
"I have to save her." I said pulling away from him.
"What if she steals your body again?" Jeff asked. He was right. What If she does. Than I would be nothing again. Wait. Helen's necklace. If I put it on and then astral project than Lia can't get to it.
"Jeff where is the necklace?" I asked almost jumping on him.
"The last time I saw it, it was. No. The floor!" he answered.
"Help me look for it," I said.
"Ok. Why?" he asked curious.
"If I put it on and then astral project than Lia won't get to it." I answered while I got on my knees and looked on the ground.
"That's a good Idea." Jeff said doing the same. We looked all over the place . It was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile Lia and Megan were slowly getting higher and higher into the sky. Megan was screaming and yelling. That only made me look harder.
"Laurie." Megan yelled once again.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." I chanted.
This was a waste of time. I should just astral project and save her. I don't care if Lia takes my body. I needed to save Megan. I was about to but Jeff called my name.
"Laurie, I found it, I found it!" Jeff yelled. I turned to him and in his hand I saw the necklace.
"Give it to me" I said running to him. He threw the necklace to me and I caught it and put it on. Then, I heard a person screaming. I turned only to see Megan falling from the sky.
