I woke up curled up in a ball, in a small, dark place. I don't know how I got here, why I am here, or even where here is. As I am wondering what to do, I see a small crack of light forming in front of me. Suddenly, the crack widens, revealing a garden. I feel the roof of the small place I am in fall away, and I look around from what appears to be the bottom half of an eggshell. I see the top half of the shell a few feet away from me. I'm assuming that I was inside the egg, though I don't know how I got in there.
I look around the garden, and I see chao walking around. The strange thing is, they are as big as I am! Realization dawns on me as I take a closer look at the eggshell. It looks exactly like the shell of an egg a chao would hatch out of. I look down at myself, and I see, I am a chao.
