Jacob flinched away as Edward's cold skin met his hot, flushed face. It was like cold rain meeting seething lava. He shivered when Edwards hand stroked his cheek and scratched behind his ears. Edward whistles and Jacob sits up in attention, beaming happily.
"You want to go for a walk boy?" Edward cooed, scratching more behind the werewolf's ears. Jacob runs around in circles, waging his tail and looking up at the Vampire with big, gray, adoring eyes.
Edward grabs the giant, pink Collar and fastens it around the werewolf's neck. The collar was adorned with shiny metal spikes and a Heart-shaped tag that read "My Owner is Hotter than Yours." He fastened a Pink, Rhinestone-encrusted retractable leash.
Jacob happily trotted in front of Edward and sat at the door, patiently waiting to be let out. When the door was opened Edward had to press sharply at the button that holds the leash in place so Jacob didn't run off. Jacob whined and waited for Edward to close the door behind himself before trotting at a leisurely pace toward the woods.
Once on the edge of the woods, Edward undid the leash. The happy Werewolf ran around in circles before picking up a large log in his mouth and depositing it on the ground in front of his master's feet. Edward picked up the giant log and waved it around, catching Jacob's attention.
"You see the stick boy? You see it?" Edward earned a happy bark. "Then go get it!" He tossed the log, and the werewolf took after it, kicking up leaves, grass and dirt.
Both the log and the young wolf disappeared from Edward's sight. The wolf came back carrying the log in his mouth, panting, and dropped it on the ground.
Edward scratched behind Jacob's ears. "Good boy!" He rewarded the werewolf with a big bag of doggy treats. Jacob ate the whole bag, and tackled Edward, licking his face.
There was a gasp from behind them. Edward and Jacob turned to see a furious Bella.
"Edward!" She raged. "I told you we aren't keeping him!"
Edward hugged Jacob's neck, smoothing his fur. "B-But Bella-"
"No buts, Edward!" She hissed. "I told you! Either HE goes, or I go!"
Jacob whined. The whining of the Werewolf ignited rage in the Vampire. How dare Bella scare his little wolf!
"You don't understand Bella!" Cried Edward. "You will never Understand the Love between a man and his dog!"
"THEN I'M LEAVING!" She threw her engagement ring on the dirty ground and stamped on it. She stomped off into the distance, leaving Vampire and Werewolf alone.
Edward looked over to see that Jacob had turned to his human self. He was sobbing slightly.
"Jacob, what's wrong?"
Jacob looked up at Edward. "Edward, I'm pregnant!"
