A/N: Okay, I know I've been writing a lot of stories, well not really a lot, at the same time but I like writing. So, this is another version of the breakup at 4.11. It could be a oneshot until inspired further by at least 10 reviews.

"Who's Rose?" she asked.

He took a deep breath "She's a circulating nurse. I kissed her once, yesterday. I'm sure you know that. That's why you're asking me."

"So, yesterday, you were making out with scrub nurses and today, you're building our dream house?"

"Yesterday, we were dating other people." he said defensively.

"That's not the point."

"That is the point. I told you I wanted to marry you, I wanted to build a house, a life with you and you weren't ready."

"And Rose is? You don't wanna build a life with me. You want someone. Someone who wants the same things you want."

"I knew the minute I showed you those plans you were gonna find some reason to walk away."

"You wanna know why I'm not ready to build a house with you? This is why because I cannot trust you!"

"You can't trust anybody. No matter what I do, you're always gonna look for reasons not to trust me. I can't do it anymore."

"Well neither can I." she paused. "Do you remember a while ago when I told you I was gonna tell you something important?"

He nodded.

"Well, you are the only one I'm considering to keep it or not."

"Keep what?"

"Never mind." with that she walked away until Derek grabbed her arm.

"What the hell are you not telling me?!"

"Nothing." she paused. "In an hour. I'm just going up to gynecology right now."

"For what?" he paused at realization. "Oh my god!

"Took you a while to figure it out." she crossed her arms.

"Meredith…"

"You know a simple 'I'm sorry' from you 5 minutes ago and we wouldn't even be having this conversation. I wouldn't even be considering a termination."

"I'm sorry."

"You're just saying that because I told you to."

"Meredith don't do this."

"Fine. What do you want me to do then?"

"I want you to keep it. I want us to start over, please?"

"Derek, we started over 4 months ago and look where it got us."

"Please."

"Goodbye, Derek." she walked to the elevator and stepped inside. She was alone. She pressed the stop button and cried.

The end! It's a oneshot!
